What we collect

Tark collects the minimum data needed to run the platform: email addresses for parent accounts, child names chosen by parents, and reasoning activity (challenge responses and syntheses). We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or behavioral tracking data.

How we use your data

Reasoning activity is used to generate the child’s thinking record, provide teacher visibility, and produce IB portfolio materials. It is never used for advertising, never sold to third parties, and never used to train AI models.

Children's data

Children on Tark are represented by parent-chosen names only. No photographs, no full names in school feeds, no publicly identifiable information. School feeds use anonymous codenames (e.g. ASH-VIXEN-445) so peer thinking is visible without identity exposure.

Data storage

Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the EU. Parents may request deletion of their child’s data at any time by emailing hello@tark.world.
