What is Tark

तर्क (tark). To reason. To question. To arrive at what you actually think.

We chose this name deliberately. Tark is a practice, not a content library. The ancient tradition of structured discourse, in which positions are formed, challenged, and refined, is one of the oldest forms of education in the world.

We believe every student between 11 and 16 has more to say than they’ve been asked to say. The conditions for discovering what you actually think — low stakes, genuine curiosity, no right answer — are precisely what Tark creates.

Tark creates those conditions. In the years when it matters most.

The years between 11 and 16 are the period in which the architecture of serious thinking is built.

Two programmes

Built for where your students are.

The same rigorous practice. Two distinct experiences, each shaped by the demands of its programme.

IB MYP · Ages 11–16

Where serious thinking first takes shape.

MYP students build a reasoning record across the programme. Teachers see how each student actually thinks — not just what they've done. A portrait that follows them into Grade 10 and beyond.

IB DP · Ages 16–19

Where those habits become permanent.

DP students have an EE to write, a TOK Exhibition to build, and two years when thinking habits either deepen or don't. Tark connects to both — so the practice and the academic work become the same work.

DP
